Our History
We established since 2000 , from Melaka , after that we migrate our branch to Selangor Jaya One Shopping Mall. At the times, the restaurant name as The Coconut House. However due Covid 19 occur , we decided migrate our business to PJ SS2/30 and decided rebrand our restaurant as " The Italian Job". Our founder , John Rock , still the restaurant main chef and restaurant owner from year 2000-until now . So the real taste is still remain.
We serve traditional & authentic Italian food.
Our Napoli wood-fired oven was made by 100% traditional clay without any cement mixture. Thus, we are able to produce more crispy pizza crust and infused with natural wood scent.
We insist to use the fresh and real ingredient for all our food with no MSG or preservatives added. We want to make sure you can taste the most authentic flavour of the ingredient in the food!

If you are gramophone record fans or Jazz music, 70-80s genre music lover, then this is a place suit for you. We do sell our collections. You can choose the collection of us and enjoy our music via our Vinyl record player
Second , compare to other Italian woodfire or non wood fire food restaurant, we do provide non halal food such as pork material food & pizzas. We also do provide durian panzerotti/pizza for specific seasons.We do provide Prepaid Card. So you can enjoyed at least min 15% - 30% discount base on the fees you subscribed. ( one time fees , for join our cooking class also can get free prepaid card)We do Offer Cooking Classes after 3pm-5pm,From August 2024, the 1st 10 students will have special gift 😄

One of differentiate between us and other woodfire pizza is , Our pizza is much more crispy and crunchy than others. Anyway We recommend you try our Pork Pizza , Panzerotti or Calzone 🙂And we do have secret recipe too~

He is writer, firm critics, Italian restaurant consultant & chef of this restaurant.
Before year 2000 founded The Coconut House Restaurant & The Italian Job restaurant(2020). He is a well known and talent writer in Malaysia , get many literary awards from 冰心/花踪 literature community before entering a new centuries, He is also a main person in charge of well known coconut house magazine during 80s-90s. Before open his first ever restaurant , he proof that he is great at cook and write.
During 2000, he decide quit his career as a full time writer and start his first Italian woodfire pizza restaurant , the Coconut House Restaurant with his partners in Melaka. His cooking skill was impressive and praised by foreigner since 2001 , and some foreigner willing teach him the new Italian dishes , that's why from The Coconut House until the Italian Job era, the foods taste like real Italian foods.
